For the 2008 camp session, the Basic Camp Fee will
be $1,460.00. This fee includes the cost of housing, tuition,
four
one-hour private lessons in the camper's primary performance area
(instrumental
or vocal), accident insurance, and the use of University Health
Services.
Also included in this fee are tickets to two Appalachian
Summer Festival events. In the past these performances
have
included the North Carolina Symphony, the Smithsonian Jazz Band, Andre
Watts, and many other well-known artists.
In addition to the Basic Camp Fee, we are offering three meal plan options of $260.00, $290.00, and $330.00. The selected amount will be added to the Basic Camp Fee for a Total Camp Fee of $1,720.00, $1,750.00, or $1,790.00. To learn more details about the meal plan options, please click here.
There are several optional camp activities and
opportunities,
both academic and recreational, that are not included in the Basic Camp
Fee. Campers are not required to participate in any of these
activities,
but many campers in the past have found them to be enlightening and
entertaining.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. No applications for scholarships will be accepted after March 31 and scholarship funds may be depleted prior to that date.
The awarding of a scholarship does not guarantee a
position
in the camp. All scholarship recipients must complete the
application
process to insure participation.
