STUDENT RECREATION CENTER
The Student Recreation Center is ASU's "state-of-the-art"
recreation
center, complete with facilities for fitness training, aerobic
exercise,
and indoor sports. Cannon Music Campers, if they wish to use the
SRC facilities, will be charged a flat fee of $20. This fee will be
charged
at the beginning of camp and is optional.
LOCKERS
For those desiring to rent lockers, the fee is $5.
INSTRUMENTS
You are expected to furnish your own
instruments.
A limited number of instruments such as tubas, double basses. or cellos
may be rented from the School of Music for a fee of $10.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION ON A SECONDARY INSTRUMENT OR VOICE
The fee is $55 for four one-half hour lessons, and
$110
for four one-hour lessons. All secondary lessons are subject to
the
availability of the camp faculty. Meet in the studio with the
instructor
at 8:45 am, Monday, June 28 to schedule secondary lessons. Take
signed
permission slip and correct fees to the camp office (Room 113) on
Tuesday,
June 29, between 1 and 4 P.M.
PIANO CLASS
Offered only to students who have had no previous
instruction
in piano, these classes are limited to the first 24 students who sign
up
at Registration. Two sections of 12 students will be offered
twice
a week. Cost is $25 and includes materials and can be paid for on
registration day.
T-SHIRTS
Camp T-Shirts can be purchased for $15.
ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE
Alexander Technique is an internationally recognized
method
designed to increase performance ability through the discovery of ways
which may relieve performance anxiety. This class is taught by
Ms.
Jane Comfort Brown, a certified Alexander Technique teacher. In
order
to reserve a place in this class, send the form for requesting it,
along
with the class fee of $90 (made payable to Jane Comfort Brown), to the
camp office prior to the beginning of camp. Because schedule
conflicts
sometimes prevent pre-registered campers from participating, you might
be able to add the class once camp has begun. If that is the
case,
you will need to pay the $90 class fee to Ms. Brown on the first day of
camp.
